Dates & Hours

The Adventure Park barn doors open at 4:30pm. The required check-in time is 30 minutes before your train departure. After check-in, take a short walk to the Christmas Barn or General Store to wait in the warm until you’re called up to the Train Depot. General admission is open 4:30pm–9:00pm.

North Pole Express

Yes – if you schedule a departure on the North Pole Express Train! You’ll visit Santa as he sits beside his sleigh, and our photographer will take photos of children in the sleigh.

The North Pole Express is an excursion train that runs on tires and travels about 5 miles an hour. It has an engine and 7 passenger cars, each with 3 rows holding up to 6 adults (or the equivalent). Smaller children may ride as lap riders. The cars have roofs and open-air windows – please dress for the conditions.

The train departs every 15–20 minutes, and the ride itself is about 15 minutes traveling through dazzling lights and holiday displays to the North Pole to see Santa.

Come by the ticket booth and we’ll get you on a waiting list for a new boarding pass. Head to the Christmas Barn or General Store and wait for standby loading. If we’re already booked up, we’ll make an extra run at the end of the night after all other departures.

The train runs despite the weather – the cars have roofs and open-air windows, so please dress for the conditions. Santa’s room at the North Pole is heated! If the train is operating and you fail to redeem your ticket for your reserved night, tickets are forfeited (no refunds for no-shows). In the rare event the train is canceled or delayed for weather or mechanical difficulties, the ticket office will offer rain checks.

Accessibility & Location

Our trains are vintage, so they don’t have all the features of modern trains – riders must be able to transfer to a train seat. We do our best to accommodate all riders. The Christmas Barn and General Store are wheelchair accessible.

Yes! There’s a stroller parking area at the Train Depot loading/unloading area for your convenience.
